Project: Protected Vegetable Cultivation using Hydroponic System in Sidi Abdel Rahman - North Coast.

Project Details:

  • Location: Sidi Abdel Rahman, North Coast, Egypt.
  • Client: Engineer Nassim Atallah.
  • Objective: Developing a modern agricultural system for protected vegetable cultivation using hydroponic technology, contributing to high-quality and sustainable agricultural production.

Project Components:

  1. Greenhouse:

    • Supply and installation of a greenhouse made of galvanized iron, covered with high-quality plastic film (120 microns thick), featuring side panels and an upper arch to protect plants from weather conditions and ensure an ideal growth environment.
  2. Hydroponic Systems:

    • Supply and installation of 8 A-frame hydroponic systems, each accommodating 270 seedlings. These systems are designed to maximize the utilization of available space and ensure even distribution of nutrients and water.
  3. Nutrient Solutions:

    • Supply of 500 liters of nutrient solutions (A and B), in 5-liter containers for each type, to ensure plants are nourished with the essential elements for healthy growth and to achieve abundant agricultural production.
  4. Soil:

    • Providing 1500 liters of specialized soil for the hydroponic system. This is a lightweight soil with high moisture retention capacity, which enhances system efficiency and ensures strong plant growth.
  5. Agricultural Seedlings:

    • Planting 2150 various vegetable seedlings, including strawberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, and zucchini. This diverse selection of vegetables contributes to meeting local community needs and provides high-quality agricultural products.
